Operational Modes

Operational modes are different terminal configurations that determine whether a transaction is initiated by the terminal or by the attached machine. All terminals should be set to the correct operational mode upon arrival. If this configuration requires changes, please reach out to our support team.

Standalone

The "standalone" terminal mode is used on bays that don't use predefined wash packages. In this environment, the user selects an amount through presets or a custom amount, presents their card/device and then passes that information to an iWash/iVac machine, which provides the user with wash time (dependent on the transaction amount).

Bays that should have this setup are:

  • Manual Wash Bays
  • Dog Wash Bays
  • Vacuum Bays

Custom Amount

Tap "Custom Amount" and this screen will appear.

Integrated

The "integrated" terminal mode is used on bays where the transactions are initiated via an ANZTEC machine for predefined wash packages. In this environment, the user selects a wash option on the ANZTEC machine and the corresponding transaction amount is sent to the terminal. The customer then taps their card/device on the terminal to complete the transaction.
