Bootup & Shutdown
Turning ON
To power on the terminal, press the large button for a few seconds. Once display turns on, release the button and allow 2 minutes for terminal to load.
Waking up
If the terminal is ON but the display is dim or OFF, simply press the button to wake the terminal up (display will turn on immediately).
Shutdown
Enter the Dashboard menu by holding the button down for a few seconds, this will prompt you for the merchant passcode. After entering the passocde, tap the Power icon to bring up Restart and Turn Off options; slide the Turn Off option to the left to begin the shutdown process.



Rebooting the Terminal
In the rare event that the terminal is on but unresponsive, a reboot can be triggered by holding down the button for > 10 seconds. When the screen goes blank, release the button. This action is a last resort if terminal is unresponsive.
Terminal Power Modes
Your terminal can be used in a variety of circumstances and there are accompanying power settings that can determine how it functions over time.
Power Presets - On Power
The terminal must be connected to power and below are the available power presets.
Balanced Power
Your terminal is shipped with ‘Balance Power’ as default. Do not change the power settings unless instructed by Quest Support, as changing the value may have unintended consequences to your wash operation.
