Receipts

The Digital Receipt feature is controlled by your business in the Cloud EFTPOS Web Portal. If the feature has been enabled, your terminal will prompt customers for digital QR code receipts.

Enabling Digital Receipts

To enable digital receipts in the Cloud EFTPOS Web Portal, please complete the following:

  1. Log into the Portal and proceed to the Terminals section in the left menu
  2. Click on the terminal you'd like to configure
  3. Click on the Enable Receipt Prompt slider so "Yes" is displayed and click Save in the bottom-right corner

How Receipts are Delivered

After a transaction is complete, the customer will be prompted if they wish to retrieve a receipt. No personal details are required to be entered into the terminal. Instead, if a receipt is requested the terminal will present a dynamic QR code for the customer to scan with their phone. Scanning the QR code will launch a web browser on the phone to retrieve the receipt.

Receipt Prompt

After a transaction is complete, press Yes when prompted for a digital receipt. The customer can then use their smartphone camera to scan the QR code.
